Singing, dancing and movement complimented with theater games and acting.

COMMERCIAL & TV ACTING (3rd-12th grades)

Learn on-camera acting and how to audition for commercials and TV in New York City. A kid-friendly, professional workshop which emphasizes on-camera acting, concentrating on audition techniques for commercials, TV and film. Students learn from experienced professionals, working on acting skills in an actual studio, specifically geared towards the camera. New York City managers and agents will be in attendance for the final class to watch the students and give feedback. Each year, Way Off Broadway students sign with New York City agents, appear in national commercials, major motion pictures, Broadway and television.

Final Presentation in Manhattan
Prepare and perform an audition monologue with a NYC director. Final day presentation at a New York City studio attended by NYC agents and managers, including feedback and Q&A.
For students in the 6th thru 12th grades (5th grade and younger by invitation).
