Classes are in Manhattan, and students are grouped by grade level
Our January 2010 Commercial & TV Acting Workshop was a big success! Check back for dates for our next workshop.
Learn on-camera acting and how to audition for commercials and TV in New York City. A kid-friendly, professional workshop which emphasizes on-camera acting, concentrating on audition techniques for commercials, TV and film. Students learn from experienced professionals, working on acting skills in an actual studio, specifically geared towards the camera. New York City managers and agents will be in attendance for the final class to watch the students and give feedback. Each year, Way Off Broadway students sign with New York City agents, appear in national commercials, major motion pictures, Broadway and television.
AUDITION MONOLOGUE (5th-12th grades; 4th & younger by invitation)
Our February/March 2010 Audition Monologue Workshop was a big success! Check back for dates for our next workshop.
Students work in semi-private, age-appropriate groups for two-hour sessions each Saturday, with the time TBA between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm.
For students in the 5th thru 12th grades (4th grade and younger by invitation). Prepare and perform an audition monologue with a NYC instructor. Informal presentation at a New York City studio. NYC Agents attend and give feedback.
